This is it!  The one we've all be waiting for!  Your hosts have been waiting two years to watch and discuss this one, so hold on to your hats, darlings, cuz it's gonna be a doozy!

When  eight year old, Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin, in the role that made him famous) and his large extended family plan a trip to Paris, his house in a Chicago suburb is a flurry of activity.  Kevin, being one of the youngest ones, always seems to be underfoot.  When he wishes that his family would disappear, his wish seems to be granted, as his family accidentally leaves for their Paris trip without him.  Typical kid behavior ensues, lots of jumping on the bed, eating junk food, watching movies he shouldn't watch...you know, exactly how the KYD team behaves all the time.  Little does Kevin know his house is being watched by two burglars (played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern)!  After a few attempts to break in, Kevin must defend his family home against the burglars through a spectacular series of Rube Goldberg-esque traps the likes of which only a serial killer could imagine!  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

But after the wait...will our hosts hate this movie as much as they have thought they would for the past two years?  Join us and find out!  And don't forget to RATE, REVIEW & SUBSCRIBE!

This year, our Holiday wish is to endeavor to be more inclusive! Since Dan is Jew-ish, he grew up celebrating both Christmas AND Chanukah.  So in the effort to focus on other holidays besides Christmas, we watched both A Rugrats Chanukah AND A Charlie Brown Christmas!  In A Rugrats Chanukah, our favorite gang of adventurous babies pay a visit to the local synagogue where Tommy Pickles' Grandpa Boris is set to star in the annual Chanukah play!  The gang learn a valuable lesson about friendship and tradition.  In A Charlie Brown Christmas the lovable Peanuts gang struggles to find the true meaning of Christmas by staging an annual Christmas play. The gang learn a valuable lesson about friendship and tradition.  Hmmm...perhaps our two holidays have more in common than we realize.  But will our two Holiday hosts get all they want this year from these two lovely specials?  Join us and find out!  And don't forget to RATE, REVIEW & SUBSCRIBE!

Real talk...we've all been watching bits and pieces of A Christmas Story ever since TBS got the brilliant idea to play this movie for 24 damn hours straight.  But when's the last time you actually sat down and watched it as a complete movie?  Your faithful hosts are currently in the thick of the Holiday Haze, so they're gonna sit down and watch it for you!  You know all the iconic moments: the leg lamp, the kid's tongue sticking to the frozen pole, "I can't put my arms down!" and of course..."You'll shoot your eye out!"  You all know the story...red-blooded midwestern boy wants a gun for Christmas.  It's got classic written all over it.  So you know that you love the bits and pieces you catch on TV in between the kids whining over opening presents and your forth glass of Christmas morning zinfandel (just me?)...but do you still love this movie the way Ralphie loves that BB gun?  Join us and find out!  And don't forget to RATE, REVIEW & SUBSCRIBE!

Thanksgiving has come and gone and we are officially on that Holiday creep, darlings... To celebrate this fun and festive time of year, we will be focusing on holiday themed movies for the whole month of December!  First up...The Muppet Christmas Carol!  Starring Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge, the most famous Christmas sourpuss of them all, and all of your favorite Muppet friends as various characters in the Dickens' classic: Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit, Miss Piggy as his feisty missus, Fozzie Bear as Fozziewig, Statler & Waldorf as the Marley brothers, and Gonzo the Great as our narrator, Mr. Charles Dickens himself!  Disclaimer: Chrysten is pretty stoked on Christmas, and as such, watches this movie and many others every year.  But Dan has not seen this since he was just a lil one, so this should be a fun one!  Will Dan love this movie as much as he did when he was just a little Danny?  Will Chrysten love this as much this year as she does every year? (Probably) Join us and find out!  And don't forget to RATE, REVIEW & SUBSCRIBE!
